Robert D. Ziff is an American businessman and philanthropist. He was born on May 22, 1967, in New York City, USA. He is the son of William Bernard Ziff Jr., who founded the publishing company, Ziff Davis. Robert D. Ziff is the co-managing partner of Ziff Brothers Investments, a private investment firm that manages assets of over $4 billion.
Ziff graduated from Princeton University with a degree in politics in 1990. He then went on to earn his law degree from New York University School of Law. Ziff started his career as a corporate lawyer at the law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He joined Ziff Brothers Investments in 1992.
Robert D. Ziff is also known for his philanthropy. He and his family have donated millions of dollars to various causes through the Ziff Family Foundation. He is a board member and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Jewish History in New York City.
Ziff is also a recognized collector of rare and vintage motorcycles, which he frequently displays at events and exhibitions. He has also been involved with the development of a motorcycle museum in Miami, Florida.
Ziff is married to Kristen Paglia, and they have three children.
